We are looking for a Senior mechanical designer with a passion for technology and mainly mechanics
Your role
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer who is motivated by finding a smart design solution but also loves to take things apart and put them back together either to see how they work or to make them a little better.
During certain periods you will participate in external construction projects where you are sometimes out with the customer. During other periods, you support our technical salespeople with design adaptations, or work with internal development projects.

Your experience
You have an engineering degree and at least 5 years of work experience. To thrive in the role, you like to work with both customers and colleagues, have easy communication and like technical challenges and problem solving. You must also enjoy having different tasks and be able to switch between them easily. We believe that you are driven by taking personal responsibility in a business-like manner to achieve the best results. You think it’s important to be professional, for us it means that we work quickly, keep what we promise and that it’s right from the start.
You also have experience with the CAD tools Inventor and/or SolidWorks. Knowledge in electronics and servo technology is advantageous.

HDD has a broad range of Servo Motors primarily aimed at all applications in the machine industry. The HDD motor technology enable motors with less than half the size of motors with equivalent performance.
Because of their high power and torque density the motors are excellent in for applications which requires limited space and weight. They are very well suited for direct drive because of their high torsional stiffness and low cogging torque.
Our production and development is flexible. We deliver adaptations according to your request to provide you with the best motor for your specific application.
